Your Water-Protec Water Detection System Guide

SYSTEM OPERATION

How your system protects you

Your Water-Protec system continuously monitors the critical areas of your property.

When water is detected:

Instant detection — Sensors identify the presence of water

Automatic shutdown — The main inlet valve closes

Audible alarm — 15-minute alert to notify you

Visual indication — The panel displays the sensor in alarm

Important: Your water supply is shut off until the system is reset.

ALARM PROCEDURE

4 steps to resolve a water detection alarm

STEP 1 — SILENCE

Press the SILENCE button on the control panel to stop the audible alarm.

STEP 2 — IDENTIFICATION

Locate the sensor in alarm on the control panel (red LED). Note its number to identify the affected area.

STEP 3 — VERIFICATION

Locate the water source in the sensor area

Address the source (stop the leak, shut off the affected appliance)

Completely dry the sensor and the surface where it rests

If water has entered the sensor housing, replace it immediately

Place the sensor back in its initial location

STEP 4 — RESET

Wait a minimum of 2 minutes after replacing the dry sensor

Press the RESET button

All LED lights will turn green

Water returns to your property

STANDBY MODE

If all lights are off, the system is in standby mode. Press SILENCE or RESET to deactivate standby mode and restore LED lights.

If reset fails: The sensor is not completely dry or is defective. Check again or contact technical support.
